Listings & Media
Create and manage links, media folders, and donation listings, then choose the correct checkout and delivery path.

Choose the offer your buyer should receive
Open Listings to search and filter everything your workspace can offer. Imported events appear beside three listing types that you can create in Diem: links, media folders, and donations.
| Type | What the seller configures | How it is created |
|---|---|---|
| Imported event | Ticket types and availability synchronized from an enabled provider. | Choose Connect Platform or Create Event Tickets, then import from Posh, Bookt, or Eventbrite when enabled. |
| Link | A title, destination URL, optional description and cover, and a free or paid price. | Choose Add, New Listing, then Link. |
| Media | A downloadable or view-only folder containing images, video, audio, PDF, or Word files. | Choose Add, New Listing, then Media. |
| Donation | Preset contribution amounts, optional custom amounts, description, and cover. | Choose Add, New Listing, then Donation. |
Create a destination link
Start the listing
Open Listings, choose Add, choose New Listing, and select Link.
Describe the destination
Enter a required title and URL. A description and cover image are optional. Use an HTTPS URL that you own or trust.
Choose free or paid
Leave Price empty or set it to 0 for a free link. A positive price sends the buyer through Diem checkout before delivery.
Create and verify
Choose Add link, return to Listings, and open the buyer destination from a separate browser before adding it to a live campaign.
The interface accepts an optional JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP cover and displays a 5 MB maximum. Treat the displayed limit as interface guidance until the complete upload path has been tested in the target environment.
Create a media folder
Choose Media
From Listings, choose Add → New Listing → Media and enter a required title. Description and cover are optional.
Set the price
Leave Price empty or use 0 for free. Any positive value uses checkout and requires the seller's Stripe account to be ready for charges and payouts.
Choose a folder type
Download lets an authorized buyer save files. View Only renders supported files in the browser, but it is not DRM. The price applies to the whole folder, not individual files.
Add at least one file
Select or drop images, videos, audio, PDFs, DOC files, or DOCX files. You can rename each item before the first upload.
Keep the browser open
Diem creates a draft, uploads each file in parts, uploads the optional cover, and then publishes the folder. Wait for every step to finish before leaving.
Confirm the result
Return to Listings, filter to Media, open Edit, and confirm the folder is published and contains every intended asset.
The current API accepts JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP images; MP4, WebM, or QuickTime/MOV video; common MP3, MPEG, WAV, OGG, AAC, M4A, WebM, or FLAC audio; and PDF, DOC, or DOCX documents. The supported server maximum is 1 GB per file, but browser memory, connection stability, conversion, and buyer delivery can fail sooner. Test large files before relying on that limit. MOV conversion happens in the browser; if it fails, re-export the file as MP4 and try again.
Configure a donation listing
Choose Donation
From Listings, choose Add → New Listing → Donation and enter a required title.
Set contribution choices
Keep, remove, or add positive preset amounts. At least one preset is required.
Choose custom amounts
Turn on Allow custom amount only when buyers should be able to enter another amount. The checkout requires at least $1.
Add context
Use the optional description and cover to explain what the contribution supports, but do not imply tax treatment that has not been reviewed.
Edit, publish, attach, or delete a listing
- Use the Listings search, type filter, and sort controls to find an event, link, media folder, or donation.
- Choose Edit on a Diem-created listing to change its title, description, cover, price or type-specific fields.
- For media, Edit can add files, remove existing assets, change Download or View Only, and publish a draft that already contains an asset.
- Use Edit Keywords to attach an offer to Instagram keyword behavior. Imported events are managed at their provider; Diem provides keyword and buyer-link actions rather than native event editing.
- Add the listing separately in the Link Page editor when it should appear on the public storefront.
- Choose Delete from the desktop Edit view only after checking active keywords, Link Page sections, shared URLs, and buyer obligations. The current mobile Edit flow does not show Delete, and the confirmation states that deletion cannot be undone.
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| A link, media folder, or donation disappears after choosing a Status filter | Choose All Status. The other status values apply to imported events and can hide Diem-created listings. |
| A listing is missing from the Link Page picker | Search Listings first and confirm it exists. The picker initially loads only the first result page, so contact support if it remains unavailable. |
| A new media folder says Draft | Open Edit, confirm at least one completed asset, then choose Publish. Verify that the Draft label is gone before sharing. |
| You need View Only media | Create it through Listings → Add → New Listing. Some quick-create paths default media to Download. |
Know the current buyer-facing status
| Listing path | Current behavior | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Free external link | Opens the configured destination without Diem checkout, receipt, or access tracking. | Use only when no order record or delivery gate is needed. |
| Paid link | Checkout creates a durable purchase; the destination is returned only through authorized post-purchase access. | Test immediate access and later magic-link recovery; protect the external destination separately if it must remain revocable. |
| Free download folder | Collects buyer details and creates a durable $0 resource order and confirmation before delivery. | Test the buyer email, confirmation, and every asset. |
| Free view-only folder | A signed-out visitor can open the free viewer through a public access check without creating a purchase. | Treat the signed viewer as convenience, not DRM. |
| Paid download folder | A settled, delivered entitlement permits finite per-asset downloads through fresh short-lived signed URLs. | Test limits, expiration, refund revocation, and later recovery. |
| Paid view-only folder | A settled, delivered entitlement permits inline viewing through short-lived signed URLs. | Do not promise that browser-visible content cannot be copied or captured. |
| Donation | Checkout validates the amount and creates a durable paid order and receipt. | Confirm the server total and avoid unreviewed tax claims. |
| Imported event | Free and paid orders use durable purchases and wait for provider fulfillment before confirmation. | If delivery remains Processing or needs attention, reconcile it instead of asking the buyer to pay again. |
